Tide & Hive has built an exceptional brand identity. But the current WordPress and Elementor platform is holding you back—loading 36 CSS files, 22 JavaScript files, and scoring just 67/100 on security. As you prepare for full commercial launch, now is the ideal time to rebuild on a foundation that matches the quality of your brand.
We’re proposing a complete rebuild of your website as a hand-coded, bespoke site—written in clean PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. No page builders. No plugin bloat. No ongoing WordPress maintenance burden. Just a fast, secure, beautifully crafted website that you fully own.
To make this as accessible as possible, we’ve structured the pricing to keep your upfront investment low, with ongoing hosting and maintenance handled through a simple monthly plan. This means you get a premium website from day one without the heavy launch cost.
Scope of Work
Everything needed to take Tide & Hive from its current WordPress site to a fully bespoke, performance-first web presence.
Complete redesign of all pages (Home, Shop, About Us, Contact) as hand-coded HTML/CSS/JS, faithfully preserving and elevating the existing brand identity. Custom responsive layouts built mobile-first with modern CSS.
A bespoke product and checkout system with Stripe payment integration, replacing the current non-functional WooCommerce shop. Full basket, checkout, order confirmation, and email receipt flow. Designed to scale as the product range grows.
All security headers configured from launch (HSTS, CSP, X-Frame-Options, etc.). No WordPress admin panel to attack. Targeting sub-500ms page loads with a single optimised CSS file and minimal JavaScript. 95+ Lighthouse scores across all categories.
Semantic HTML5 markup, auto-generated sitemap.xml, rich structured data (Product, Organisation schemas), enforced image alt text, correct heading hierarchy, and analytics integration (GA4 or privacy-friendly alternative). All meta tags managed per page.
Built to WCAG 2.1 AA standards from the ground up: semantic landmarks, ARIA roles, keyboard navigation, sufficient colour contrast, and optimised font sizing for the 45+ target demographic.
Privacy Policy, Terms & Conditions, and Cookie Policy pages—all currently missing from the site. UK GDPR-compliant, professionally structured, and integrated into the site footer.
Rebuilt contact form with proper validation and spam protection. New “Notify Me” / newsletter signup integrated into the homepage, capturing leads from day one with a simple email integration (e.g. Mailchimp or Brevo).
All existing content, imagery, and brand assets migrated to the new site. Custom “Boardwalk Avenue” font preserved. Testimonials, product copy, and the founder story carried across without loss.

Project Timeline
From sign-off to launch, here’s the expected timeline for the project.
Week 1
Review brand assets, confirm design direction, and produce homepage wireframe and design concept for sign-off. Content audit and image optimisation begin.
Weeks 2–3
Hand-code all pages with responsive layouts, integrate Stripe checkout, set up contact forms, and implement SEO foundations. Testing on multiple browsers and devices throughout.
Week 4
Client review of the staging site. Feedback incorporated, final content adjustments, and performance/accessibility audits run. Lighthouse scores validated.
Week 4–5
DNS migration, SSL configuration, security headers applied, analytics verified, and the site goes live. Existing WordPress site archived. Post-launch monitoring for 48 hours.
Ongoing
Monthly hosting, backups, uptime monitoring, security patching, content updates (up to 3 hours/month), and annual SEO health check. You focus on the business; we handle the website.

The portal is fully secured with login protection, session timeouts, and encrypted payments. Your card details are never stored on the portal itself.
